Set4life mentoring with passion project.Set4Life Mentoring with Passion Project
(private/semi-private)
Do you have a creative child who struggles with ways to cope with their big emotions?
I feel like I was once that child, lost in my own seemingly frightening inner world, without the proper guidance to help me express or understand what was going on inside me.
Over the years of trying to understand myself and others better, I have developed methods and found powerful tools to help me feel my best and show up in my life as who I want to be.
This is a result of years of research and personal study that have effectively helped me and other students not only navigate and regulate our sensitive nervous systems but to become extremely effective creators of our lives.
The guidance provided through this mentoring program is two fold:
First, exploring what the student is passionate about creating and pursuing a project that really excites them. This will help channel their energy in a constructive and creative way. The program will help provide the guidance needed to create whatever they student intends bring to life.
Second, the goal is to provide life skills and a vision to help sustain a positive feeling of life in the pursuit of worthy dreams. This is achieved through the help of the Set4life workbook and planner.
The workbook breakdowns the 4 areas of health that help us create and maintain a positive feeling for life: emotional, mental, physical and spiritual. The premise is that when we strive to balance our inner experiences to feel our best, it optimizes the creation of our outer experiences.
The Set4life planner helps outline the students’ vision and then provides a framework to breakdown what tasks the students intends to accomplish to honor that vision..
This program is intended to provide the student with coping strategies during failure (or what I consider harmless moments of dysregulation) as well as create evidence of their own successes.
With this simple yet powerful framework and the development personal skills, I believe the student can face life with confidence that they can take with them for the rest of their lives.
Taught by Sariah Tate who received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and minor and certificate in Arts and Technology from the University of Utah. She has taught art classes in public elementary schools and privately for several years.

Best place ever for art lessons! My daughter learned so much, and had so much fun! Her final project was beautiful and it was so fun for them to get to frame their special piece and have their own official art show to display their masterpieces. Sariah is an amazing artist, and is wonderful at bringing the artist out in each child as well!
